Basic Class Information:

All classes are held once a week for 45 minutes unless otherwise noted.  Each family will receive a set of materials that will be used in class as well as at home.  The set consists of a beautifully illustrated song book, and two CD's - one for your car and one for home.  Each session will run for 10 weeks.  Please check your schedule for any days that classes may not be held during the session.  If at any time you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kelly at 215-799-0705.

Infants Music Together Class - Birth- 9 months:
This class is for children who are newborn - nine months of age. The class is designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible about music development in infants. I will help you to recognize and identify musical behaviors in your newborn! You will receive a song book and two cd's specifically for infants.  Bring your voice and a blanket for your baby to lay on.

Mixed Age Classes:
This class is for children, age birth - five years of age. Siblings and parents can enjoy this class together. Activities center around parent/child interaction as well as child/child interaction. The older children in the class act as leaders and role models for the younger children and their siblings. Sibling discounts are available.  We offer nine different collections so you would need to attend every session for three consecutive years before your family would repeat a collection.  Dress comfortably as we will run, jump, dance, hop, wiggle and have as much fun making music together as we possibly can!

Infants  Sign2Me Class - Birth- 9 months:
Sign2Me classes are based on Joseph Garcia’s SIGN with your BABY® program. This program is designed for hearing children with hearing parents. Parents, expectant parents, children of all abilities, caregivers, childcare providers, and professionals that work with children can all benefit from information provided in Sign2Me classes.  This class is for infants birth through 9 months.

Hand Bell Class:
Our hand bells class will be taught by Melanie Roberts.  She has taught hand bells to young children in a pre-school setting as well as in a church setting.   In this class, as well as learning the bells, your child will learn how to perform in a group ensemble.  It is an opportunity for the children to begin an "instrument" without the pressure of formal instruction.  Each child will receive an 8 octave set of color coded hand bells with a carrying case and a book of music.  During class, the children will play music selections together which means they will not be playing ALL the bells, rather one or two.  The instructor will have bells in class so you do not need to bring your child's bells to class with you.  At the end of our 10 week session we will hold a small recital for the kids and their families.

Let's Make Music Special:
This class is for children with special needs as well as typical children.  In this class, we will work with families to help them to recognize and incorporate musical behaviors both in class and at home.  We welcome any child into all of our classes so please feel free to try any class with your child regardless of their need.  The instructors can help you as to what class may be most comfortable for you and your child!

Pre-School Program
Are you looking for a quality music program that will include the children that attend your school and their families as well?  Our pre-school music program is an excellent way to build community throughout your school -- not only with your families, but also with your teachers.  Please contact Kelly Murphy - 215-799-0705 for more specific information.
